This weekend local MP Joy Morrissey has been in Little Marlow, meeting constituents, delivering surveys, and answering questions from residents. Mrs Morrissey took to the streets of the local village as part of her regular drive to hear directly from constituents about what most concerns them.
The beautiful village of Well End sits astride a series of brooks running out from the river Thames, carrying the life and sounds of the waterways into the surrounding residential streets. Mrs Morrissey spent the morning delivering surveys, asking residents for their views on local and national issues that affect their area.
Rounding out a day of engagement with her constituents Mrs Morrissey was invited to visit the Little Marlow Flower Festival, at the St John the Baptist Church. This festival celebrates the birth of the patron saint of this beautiful 12th century church and acts as a focal point bringing together the local community and attracting visitors from far and wide.
“Wonderful to spend the day in Little Marlow and Well End, speaking to my constituents about local and national issues. I would recommend the Flower Festival to anyone in the area at that time of year, just beautiful."
