I am strongly opposed to the proposed Motorway Service Area, which would destroy a large area of Green Belt land and worsen the traffic, noise, and air pollution problems in the Ivers. This development is inappropriate, unnecessary, and harmful to the environment and the quality of life for people in the area.
I have written to the Secretary of State to urge him to reject this application and protect our precious green spaces. I have also raised this with my colleagues in Parliament, where I have been fighting for the rights of local residents.
I will continue to stand up for the Ivers and oppose any development that threatens our countryside, our health, and our wellbeing.
