Today we are paying tribute to and remembering our dear colleague James Brokenshire MP who has died from lung cancer at the age of 53 leaving behind his loving wife and children. James was a lifetime public servant who led by example, through kindness and decency to all. The House has lost a great man.
It has been an incredibly sad week in Parliament as we mourn and remember two Conservative colleagues who will no longer grace the green benches, embrace their loved ones or greet their constituents with that warm familiar smile. Two MPs who led by example, put their convictions into practice and made the world that much better.
