Vital we protect our green spaces and agricultural Green Belt land around Iver Heath, Iver & Richings Park.
Glad to see Colne Valley Regional Park represented at the excellent @IverHeathResAss community drop-in event for the Ivers.
The Colne Valley Regional Park is a beautiful mosaic of farmland, woodland & waterways with 200 km of rivers, canals and over 60 lakes
stretches from Rickmansworth in the north, including parts of SOUTH BUCKINGHAMSHIRE in GX, DENHAM, IVER HEATH, IVER & RICHINGS PARK to Staines in the south, Uxbridge and Heathrow in the east, to Slough and Chalfont in the west.
This regional park sits on Green Belt land which not only acts as the ‘lungs of London’ but provides the first taste of countryside immediately west of London & Heathrow.
In addition, Colne Valley Regional Park provides vital biodiversity sites across South Bucks and also helps to check the unrestricted sprawl of large built-up areas around Iver Heath, Iver & Denham; and assists in safeguarding the countryside from further encroachment.
Important we work together to save & protect Colne Valley Regional Park for future generations.
