Yesterday Buckinghamshire County Council announced that green waste collection will resume across the county from 11th May.
Additionally, 5 household waste sites stand ready to reopen as soon as the Government gives the green-light nationally.
It comes after the Housing and Communities Secretary, Robert Jenrick MP, announced to Parliament that local authorities would be given the go-ahead to reopen household waste sites.
In response to the good news Joy Morrissey, MP for Beaconsfield, said:
"This is excellent news and highlights how we are laying the groundwork to slowly, and cautiously ease lockdown restrictions over the coming weeks and months. We cannot afford to be too hasty or be complacent, but this seems like a sensible step forward."
