Joy Morrissey MP speaks about international travel rules in Transport Statement

Managing our borders and international travel is key to controlling the spread of new Covid variants within the UK.

During the Department of Transport statement on changes to international travel rules I mentioned I would be spending my summer holiday in England (and cheekily invited the SNP to do the same).

However, I will continue to fight for more Government support for UK aviation and inward UK tourism - two sectors devastated by the pandemic who still cannot fully recover from the pandemic even as restrictions lift.
