Joy has successfully secured funding from the government to upgrade some of our local school buildings. Joy has also been active in promoting Buckinghamshire’s excellent education system and protecting our grammar schools.

Joy Morrissey MP supports UK filmmakers training scheme in Buckinghamshire

The National Film and Television School are teaming up with Pinewood Studios to train the next generation of UK filmmakers. This partnership, to be based in Buckinghamshire, is hugely positive and progressive in the mission to fill the current skills gap that is opening up within the film industry.

Happy birthday to the National Film and Television School which is 50 this year! Their graduates have been influencing the cultural life of the UK for half a century. Fantastic to see this wonderful institution working with schools to find the next generation of award winning talent. #NFTS

Earlier today, I highlighted to the Prime Minister the serious problems caused when primary-age children cannot go to school. It was great to hear the PM say that the Government will work as fast as possible to get schools open. All possible thanks to our vaccine program.
